We’ll wait for the Republican convention to hear “the end of the world is upon us!” (If we re-elect Il Douche!)

I’m sure the repubs’s convention will focus on the botched pandemic response, and how the Rump and everyone around him are corrupt, and how good a job they did locking up children, and the tear gassing of peaceful protesters, and the destruction of sensitive ecosystems, and of course they will praise Putin.

Funny how the GOP enablers have done the same with the worst impeached president in history . . . and still continue.

There should be a fourth frame with an elephant in full police riot gear labeled “Starts Riots”

Brilliant move by Mr. Varvel to create an easily editable template to cover the entire GOP Convention next:

- change “Democratic” to “Republican”- change donkeys to elephants- change “riots” to any of the following: “corruption”, “ignorance”, “conspiracy theorist”, “unfit for office”, “cover up”, “race baiting religious bigot” (thank you Senator Graham!), “alleged tax cheat”, “misogyny”, “bullying”, “incoherence”, etc..

I wonder who’s president during all these riots and why there weren’t any 3 1/2 years ago? Seems Varvel is blaming the wrong group.

Republican Varvel can always be counted on to echo the latest GOP talking points. While ignoring more Trump associates, like Steve Bannon, being arrested for scamming Trump supporters.

Yes mr. varvel we spoke of the CAUSES of the riots [DJT] but you weren’t listening.

They did speak of the pandemic, more important than the “riots” and they also spoke of the depression and unemployment, the tearing down of the postal service, the problems with racial injustice. All of these riots and awful conditions are the result of Trump’s presidency.

Of course the theme of the tRumpublican convention will be ‘hear no COVID, see no COVID. speak no COVID’. Maybe it will just disappear before Monday.

Gary nailed it again.. Tomorrow, he will mention that the Dem’s convention recap also did not mention polar bears creating havoc in Florida. Ever observant Gary.. keep us informed.

And of course Herr Trump had nothing to do with causing the riots. Whenever you have a president who sends in the troops to gas peaceful protesters so he can have a photo op outside a church, you have a recipe for riots. Hell, should Dump happen to pull a fast one and manage to get reelected, I might join the rioters, too.

Hey, Varvel … Be sure you keep ignoring the 170,000+ neededlessly premature deaths from COVID-19! After all, “It is what it is!”

We see the fascists destroying the United States Post Office to rig the election.

We see the right wing jerks profiting off of the Republican destruction of the American way of life.

And the ‘riots’ are protests against right wing evil.

Yes, there have been lots of riots during Trump’s administration. And yes, they should have said more about the violence that Trump has caused.

If Trump is smart, and he isn’t, they won’t mention them either.

Because, as Varvel will tell you, Riots have killed over 170,000 Americans and are shredding your democracy.

No worries .. the Republicans will do it in spades.

Looking forward to a better future was the message delivered at the DNC. We can talk all you want about the dystopian country this has become under the current (lack of) leadership from now until election day. Don’t forget who sent in the gestapo to Portland!!!

Foreign relations a dumpster fire, abject failure at managing the ‘rona, an economy that could take a decade to rebuild, ongoing incidents of lethal law enforcement blunders, enabled far right nut cases . . . on and on . . . and you’re going to worry about isolated spots of rioting not being addressed? That’s a pretty lame shot at distraction, my man.

Which Riot? the one where criminals broke stuff or the one in Washington where our Taxpayer supported Federal Police attacked and gassed peaceful protesters so that Trump could stand in front of a Church with (someone else’s) bible?

You mean all those peaceful protestors who’re turning over police cars, burning vehicles and buildings, looting stores, and beating up random white people?

So, came back to this, and found out that even if you’re a Premium Member, you can get banned for making hateful remarks. So the person is apparently so upset by this that they created a new account to spew their anti-white propaganda.

One man’s riot is another man’s protest. The 60’s had real riots. This is nothing like that. This is just Faux News fodder to scare their old white audience and suburban housewives!

So sad to be so limited. PEACEFUL PROTESTS have outnumbered the few looters and rioters, but I guess that wouldn’t fit in with the RULE BY FEAR campaign that is the Republicans only life raft….I was given the impression from school that Americans were not subject to brainwashing because we are a curious, informed people. So much for that theory
