I’m sure you’re trying to forget them urging America to vote for Biden because the alternative is just that bad!

Lets hope people like her get the message from this week- put the right guy in office and then pitch in to fix the mess #45 has left us in.

Did you hear the one about the President who declared students and teachers as “Essential” to get them back in school ? That order excludes private schools where any Trump offspring might attend I think. The public school kids and teachers are dying to find out.

I suspect ms Benson and other conservative cartoonists hate Trump more than we do. He makes their job so hard.

Well that will be a good representation of my interest in next week’s bacchanalia.

Of all the potential “meanings” I can imagine for this cartoon, none of them make sense… from any political perspective.

1) Real human Biden supporters don’t exist? (Then who would have bothered to make the cutouts? Lisa?)

2) Biden supporters aren’t actually watching the Convention? (Then why bother with the TV and the cutouts?)

3) Those cutouts represent a family that died of covid-19? (At least a few cats have been found to have the virus, though I haven’t yet seen it reported that any have died from it.)

4) [Please, Lisa, explain the “message” you intended us to get from this cartoon.]

All I’ll say is that the speakers by and large spoke in complete sentences and mercifully refrained from endless repeated adjectives or adverbs, denials, and abrogation of responsibility.

I’m guess irony is beyond op’s understanding. The use of cardboard cutouts to represent COVID is interesting. Why the hate from all of you?

I heard the RNC invited Brock Turner aka Stanford Rapist, Patricia and Mark McCloskey, the couple who wielded guns at Black Lives Matter protesters in St. Louis, Nick Sandmann, the former Covington Catholic High School student whose interaction with a Native American elder in DC, Andrew Pollack the father of a Parkland school shooting victim, and anti-abortion activist Abby Johnson a former Planned Parenthood employee.So we’ll expect to get 1) how great justice is to wealthy White privilege, 2) gun toting racists, 3) I’m a White Christian that was victimized by media, 4) we don’t have enough guns in school that would’ve protected my child, and 5) I worked at PP and they are Satanists who are committing mass murder.Yeah I didn’t watch the DNC and have no intention of watching the RNC crap either.

It appears that Lisa is taking the RNC week off.

Perhaps she desires to spend more time with her family – as so many others in the Trump Administration have decided to do.

One day into the RNC convention and nothing from Lisa? Nothing about coked-up DJTJ. Nothing about DJTJ’s girlfriend screaming at an empty room? Or not knowing that her mother was a US Citizen? Nothing about the official RNC platform (we gots no platform, it’s just whatever King Don says it is)?

For those who missed civics class: A demagogue or rabble-rouser is a leader who gains popularity in a democracy by exploiting emotions, prejudice, and ignorance to arouse some against others, whipping up the passions of the crowd and shutting down reasoned deliberation. Demagogues overturn established norms of political conduct, or promise or threaten to do so. Hmmm Trump perhaps?
