I thought Michelle Obama’s speech was excellent. And I though Bernie Sanders did a fine job as well, staying to his 8-minute window and sounding considerably less shrill than his presidential “debate” performance.

I got a sense of whelming sanity. Whew!

Some very fine TV. The National Anthem was very special. Very creative moments.

Did Faux State Tv show an encore of a Trump drinking a glass of water? It would have been so inspiring to counter the DNC.

So you’re saying you’d rather watch bunkerbaby tell lies? Says a lot about you.

After watching Michelle Obama, I’m sure Jeff is pulling his hair out. What a speech! Frankly, the whole evening was riveting. I’m hooked!

All the conventions have had their day. They are just costly ‘unnecessarys’.

You got the “Netflix Completion Award” too? Awesome!

Taped it. Haven’t seen it yet but look forward to it.

I thought I would just take a quick peek but ended up watching a LOT longer than I expected, and a lot later than was good for this East coast guy. It was quite well done.

Yeah, come on, we could be watching the millionth re-run of “It’s a Great Life”. Pass the tissue, would you.

Michelle Obama’s speech was great. It summed up who most of us are and what we believe, as American’s. She critiqued tRump for what he is, and isn’t. Then she laid out why Joe Biden is the type of person we need as president. Her V-O-T-E necklace was a not so subtle reminder of what we need to do to turn the government, and country around.

Day one went well.. This may well be the process of the future. If.. the rest of the week goes as well.. the trump team will be worried about bettering it.

I found it extremely refreshing to be able to listen to people who were actually coherent and not redundant. I’ve never really paid attention to conventions before, but I found it quite enjoyable.

Awesome..Bernie will provide updates about tax breaks given to Wal-mart and the Walton family.

Fox News ran “Days of Our Lies” instead. Oh, it’s ‘Lives’ . . my mistake.

True, the GOP knows that policy and statecraft is boring. You need giant flags and fireworks and jet flyovers and blaring music with plenty of chanting by the crowd.

Well done. Some very smart and creative people worked hard to come up with something that would work in these strange circumstances, and they succeeded. I’m interested to see if they can keep it up. And I’m very interested to see what the Republicans will do. “Vote for Trump—It Is What It Is!!!”

Does anyone think that Stahler might consider ‘deleting’ this sad comment?

So read a book. It takes more attention and time than sucking in audio-visual junk. It might even help thinking processes.

Wait till the RNC hits the airwaves…

They obviously don’t subscribe to streaming services.

DNC was well done, and essential.

If you don’t want to watch it, there are these things called “books.” Maybe if they were used more instead of TVs, we wdn’t be in such a mess.

Best opening ever: young people singing the Star Spangled Banner with all their heart and talent. Brought tears to these old eyes.
