Show me someone with prominent tattoos (e.g.: “sleeves” on the arms, tattoos on the upper chest, neck, or (God forbid) face, multiple tattoos on all the limbs, etc.) and I’ll show you someone with difficulties in long-term planning.

The shrinks say that most people with tattoos, have serious issues with self-identity. Having met them, I have to agree.

Soldiers, serving our country, should not be criticized for their body art. They get them according to military regulations. It’s their body, their choice. Don’t be judgey.

Why do people get tattoos on their backs? You pay for art you can’t see. It’s like buying a picture and hanging it in the window so the world can see it but you can’t.

We were on a cruise and ran into a young couple. Her tattoos were just beautiful as she planned them out ahead of time and found an great artist. Not just a bunch of random small tattoos.

I was turned off by tatoos when I was a little kid. My great-uncle, a WWI vet had a blob of ink on his forearm. He told me it was a French dancing girl. He had the tattoo done in 1918. I really wonder what nursing home attendants will be seeing in forty years…

What the heck is wrong with buying a poster and hanging it on the wall?

What’s the point of buying art for $30 – $4,000 that’s going to be covered to meet dress codes?

I get bored with the picture on the calendar before the end of the month. What would I do with a permanent tattoo?

I am looking forward to 50 years from now when bingo is replaced in nursing homes by that great new game – Guess what this blue blob used to be and on what part of my body

To quote Flo from Non Sequitur – “I can remember when a tattoo was an act of rebellion and not an act of conformity.”
