I was counted months ago. I filled out the mail-in form for my household. Before mail became “bad”. “Nasty”.

(sigh) A very good (albeit sad) comic today.

Can we get a Census do over in 2021 because of the gross interference committed by tiny and his minions?

Doing the Census online was easy. I indicated ‘other’ for both myself and my wife. Then got the world map and started listing as many countries it would take in the space provided. When my future relatives look at this Census to work on the family tree I wish I could be there to see their faces. I figure the DNA testing kits will be ordered the same day. Didn’t tell the wife. She already knows I’m crazy and have a sense of humor. I listed all those sh*thole countries for her. The only thing I’m taking with me when I die is a smile.

This is actually much more powerful on the Instagram Page. It would make a great poster for my classroom though. Sure wish that I had students that could see it though.

Republicans killed the public health system, just in time for covid which they have no intention to stop. Now they want to kill off the retirement system as well as the Post Office. You have to be a brain dead suicidal anti American moron to vote for Republicans.

Trump has become the biggest threat to democracy in the USA.

Very clever. Trump dislikes numbers because he doesn’t know what they mean. He doesn’t know what words mean either, so at least he’s consistent.

The GOP has been working for at LEAST 10 years to cut back on the number of people of color, and particularly the immigrants, who are counted. This is deliberate policy to reduce the proportion of federal funding going to states with a large immigrant population (legal and not-so). Which amounts to being states that are agricultural: Yet another slap at the blue-collar folk who typically vote GOP… but don’t expect them to recognize that. Then they’ve jumped on the chance to use the pandemic to curtail the count, and particularly to reduce the number of people going door to door, by cutting the count period short by a month: The month when most of the “fix up” counting gets done.

This is not  stupidity, and it’s not  Il Douche’s doing. This is long term GOP policy.
