Our boys get frozen chicken broth in a margarine container, lol! but I never thought of freezing it on a stick.

Popsicle Pete is my hero. I do wish I had thought of frozen broth back when I had a dog.

There was a red, white and blue one shaped like a rocket. Mom never let me get that one.

This actually sounds like a good idea, dogs get hot and thirsty also.

Getting something from the ice cream truck was a once or twice a summer treat for us. Usually my mom made us ice cream and popsicles. It was fun because we got to choose our flavors. :o) Of course there were some she couldn’t duplicate and there where the ice cream truck came in.

I thought for a minute it was a root beer popsicle (remember those?) but of course beef broth would be MUCH preferred by Rover.

The days of summer vacation nearing an end… in another couple weeks Red will be sitting in his classroom looking back on days like this one.
