I must say, Trudeau has captured certain elements of the crowds along the wedding route perfectly. I’ve just watched a few of them being interviewed this morning, not just American but Australian, South African, Chinese, New Zealanders, Canadians and, yes, some of them probably hoping to nab the Harry prince. A few folks, not just British, have been camped along the route for a few days already. Weird people.

I feel for Sam. Dreams die hard.

Re Nemesys: Apparently through the Prince John of Robin Hood fame, who as King of England lost half of France, because big brother Lionheart blew the treasury on Crusade, so John couldn’t afford troops to defend Mum’s dowry. The royals will never name another son John for the same reason the first Bush couldn’t get re-elected. To paraphrase Twain, history may not repeat, but there are echoes. Will needs a hunting license for paparazzi.
