As we concentrate on the riots and BLM (which to Trump supporters means Burn, Loot, Murder) and promise to uphold “Law and Order,” we overlook the causes of riots.
Take a knee during the National Anthem an your are a “son of a bitch.” Let’s condemn that and not question WHY you are taking a knee.
Let’s spend news time defending Kamala Harris’ right to run for Vice President but overlook Trump’s attempts to suppress voting.
Trump is the master of denial and diversion. He’ll create a scandal over there to divert our attention to his undermining of democracy. As we worry about how threatened we are by BLM, Mexicans, Muslims, gays, me-too women, Chinese, Iranians, people from shithole countries, fake-news media and every other boogie man Trump can conjure up, our freedoms are being taken from us.
I wish I couldn’t agree. And the reason for people following the flock is, IMHO, misinformation & lack of education. It’s far easier to rule a mindless mob. Democracy, originally, was only for educated statesmen to participate in. Peasants could not vote, and rightly so, because they could not take informed decisions about the big issues.
