And the civilized countries around the world emerging from this pandemic? All with citizens wearing masks and following along with the shutdowns. Because the leaders and citizens went along with the science and did what their medical advisors recommended.
Kemp cheated his way into office. Then he appointed a Senator that sold stocks based on a Covid briefing but insider trading charges were dropped. Now he wants to endanger GA’s population, especially the black and brown ones that ar e har we hit by COVID.
We make several drives along the east coast… have adjusted our fuel stops to avoid Georgia altogether… which is easier now that we’ve cut our number of trips to Florida…
Tell me again the advantage of an opposing uncooperative uncompromising dysfunctional mutually-exclusive two-party political system composed of unrepresentative — by age, sex, diversity, etc — (multi-)millionaires that have a lower voter approval than even an unpopular president in making the country safe and prosperous for everyone NOT just a select few.
Between willful ignorance on one side and complacency on the other, we indeed get the government we deserve.
Even more amusing: While suing to ban cities from requiring masks, he is at the same time urging people to wear masks. Because he feels that people are smart enough to do the right thing.
Of course, this is the guy who ran for Governor while being in charge of the voting… during which he invalidated far more voters than ever before, most of them being… unastoundingly… people not likely to vote for him.
