    Ah, the grammar “purists” who pretend that English is a highly cultured and refined language derived from Latin, ignoring its actual ignoble roots as Anglo-Saxon. a Germanic language. Word order? Mein Gott!!!

    Did you hear the one about the prostitute who was being granted full parole, but had it revoked when she made the judge a standing offer? Never end a sentence with a proposition.
