I’m use to getting smirks from people when I wear a mask. Like Forrest said, “Stupid is as stupid does!” Time may tell which one of us is the stupid one…..but hopefully I should still be around.
In my town, people outside have been about half masked and half not (and many with masks don’t wear them right). That’s liable to change with a new governor order.
His smile in the third panel makes me think that he was considering quoting Porkypine’s answer to the same question (from Walt Kelly’s “Pogo”): “In a comic strip? Wouldn’t think of it!”

My new hobby when I get mask pushback is to tell the Covidiots “Ok, now BREATHE DEEEEEP.”
I sometimes fantasize about adding, “Can I have your parking space after you’re dead?”
