My cats have a pet door to the screened in porch, but sometimes Boots will yowl at me to open the big door! If I’m busy & can’t get there, then she’ll get impatient & go thru her her.
A bird landed on our balcony. The cat saw it and ran to catch it crashing headfirst into the closed door. He stood up, shook his head and did it again.

None of our dogs had to sit there we couldn’t "NOT hear them barking “open the door”……and more barking….believe me we opened the door.

Should have closed it and walked away for a minute. Actually, both my dogs would have known the difference… but Yorkies are smart.
