When I was trying to learn how to keep score in baseball (many years ago) I would watch it on TV (it was free in those days) and turn the sound down & listen to it on the also free radio. That way I got to see what the play was & hear it also plus they mentioned what to put on the score sheet if you were tracking it. When I went to games I was able to keep score. In those ancient days they didn’t have the big screens that now show you how to enter it,
I live in a small community. He houses are attached in groups of between 3 and 6 (mine has 6 houses). The grounds are mostly taken care of by a company. All I have to worry about are the new bushes (the old ones died) that were planted 2 months ago, until they are big enough to survive on their own & then the company takes care of trimming etc. So, I don’t have a sloping lawn to put a lot of money into. I don’t need a deluge, just enough to water them.
They keep predicting water from the sky every afternoon. I keep hoping, so I don’t have to water my new bushes. I keep seeing clouds and hearing what sounds like thunder, but nothing falls. If you find out how it happens. let me know so I can try it here.
I have an outside cat & as it’s been going up to the 90’s and the lows are in the high 70’s, I’ve been putting ice in her water bowl several times a day.
Plus, birds, raccoons, slugs and so many other things I can’t remember.
