The economy tanked, there is a virus still running thru the country/world, and businesses are more often R- they don’t really care but they need to Look-like-they-care. Candice is not meeting face to face with HR because HR still works from home. Candice is also not meeting with HR if she’s efficient. Companies are not letting go of people making them money.
Well that would be incredibly stupid if it were true. Unless her job included posting to various media, representing the organization. And since it’s Lester, I’m willing to bet he’s heard of such an instance… and that it came from a biased source. Which he’ll cite as being the utter truth.
Once again, posters…If you dislike this comic so much, why do you subject yourself to it everyday? You folks need to examine your life choices. If I accidentally hit my finger with the hammer, I don’t try and repeat it every week thereafter. “Get a life”.
It’s hard for “Republicans” to relate to the way non-“Republicans” think … as critical thinkers (non-“Republicans”) don’t have to be loyal to a person or party or ideology and are free to criticize when they see something unethical/unAmerican. Non-“Republicans” don’t have a “purification” process that they must adhere to. It’s hard to be creative with all the constraints of being a loyal “Republican”.
Blue Bell ice cream was hammered by the “woke” crowd because they failed to issue a statement on the matter. Ben & Jerry’s had made a statement that was actually in support of the rioters as well as the protesters, and because Blue Bell hadn’t issued any sort of statement the presumption was made that the company was somehow opposed to BLM.
Can’t find any story about Blue Bell being “hammered by the “woke” crowd” like Ironhold is claiming, but I did find that their CEO is being charged with conspiracy regarding a listeria outbreak in 2015, the company has plead guilty to the charges.
Whether or not the comic is based on a “real event” isn’t really the point—it’s more of a window into the conservative mindset.
Because it does pretty much sum up how conservatives view the world: Most of the people expressing progressive viewpoints are just doing it to fit in and conservatives are heading toward becoming an oppressed minority (if they aren’t one already.)
There’s this quote from Rush Limbaugh where he said “There is a war against normal people”—exactly who the “normal people” are and who gets to define “normal” in the first place is implied, I guess, but you get the idea.

Once again Lester is making up fake scenarios to prove some kind of point.

Like all Trump Disciples, Lester believes that the primary function of police is to keep Those People in line.
Keeping them in line means whatever the cops say it means.
If people get beaten or die, well, they shouldn’t have gotten out of line.
Brutality is just another tool to be used.

I see Lester is competing with Payne these days. Keep up the work and instead of Henry Payne stupid, we can use Mike Lester stupid instead.

Not just his normal two bowls of stupid, but it looks like Mike has had a glass or two of trump-ade as well today.

Groucho to ship captain : “I have a complaint. Do you know who sneaked into my state room at 2:00 in the morning ?"
Captain : “Who did that ?"
Groucho : “Nobody. That’s my complaint.”

Yep, it’s come to that. We all have to kneel and signal obedience to the New Order.

KeyKat wrote this for him.
It’s funny because a Cat wrote it.

Here is the statement from Ben and Jerry’s that doesn’t match Ironhold’s claims either.
