   Actually, there’s no confusing the two because most of the long-haired, mellow dudes of your generation emptied out their souls to make room for Limbaugh and Hannity the first chance they got. Lefties certainly don’t have any kind of monopoly on “cancelling” or hateful behavior.

   I’m familiar with the term, sunshine. I was referring to Ramirez et al.’s tendency to label their straw man caricatures with “woke” or “radical left” or what-have-you, when it’s already pretty obvious from the hipster beard and the ponytail who he’s talking about. It makes the whole thing look like an editorial cartoon from the Onion.

   Another reminder that Varvel lives in freaking INDIANA. The horrible draconian measures that he’s wetting his pants over are 1) a publicity campaign by the governor to encourage mask wearing—without any mandate or enforcement behind it 2) mandatory masking in a few counties and 3) mandatory masking in stores that ask for it (again, without any method of actually enforcing it.)

   I’m sick and tired of how these conservative weenies run THE WHOLE STATE but still act like they’re some kind of persecuted minority.
