Spot on Ted. I notice how certain media and politicians fixate on the small number of opportunists who loot, or on those who, on this side of the Atlantic, take down a monument to the slave trade. The unwritten message is “that’s what they’re like”.
Just show us another signing of an executive order with Trump with the stooges smiling and of course lots of flags. Just use the bunker this time instead of the Oval Office.
Almost. While it is true that the violence is a direct result of the non-violent protests being ignored at best and excoriated by many, it was the President and his conservative supporters in the government. Many in the government did laud non-violent protests and were decried as socialists and pandering to the crowd. Furthermore, there is ample coverage of non-violent protests in the media. Ironically, that coverage has been called fake and biased manipulation by the conservatives who claim the media is a liberal tool. It seems now the media has been “Obama-ed” by Ted. That is where the conservatives say you are so liberal that you are an enemy of the people or a threat to the nation; yet to Ted, you are so conservative, he can’t tell the two apart.

What media does Ted read that doesn’t cover non-violent protests? I’ve been seeing video and articles about them all over the US and the world.

I especially like panel 2. And the comment in panel 1 is, unfortunately, exactly right; property trumps everything.

If politicians deplore violence, maybe they should stop funding violence, here and around the world.
