    Unfortunately, I’ve known people who really did purposely maim themselves in order to get what they thought were benefits… when I was at the steel mill it would happen every few months.

    Several years ago my wife broke her back and during her recovery we used the (what ever the politically correct term for handicapped parking is) spaces. It was a real blessing to have them available. Learning how to drive the little carts in the stores was a learning curve. She only took out one end display that I know of. Save the spots for the people that need them please.

    It’s going to take a little longer than a few minutes. You have to get a note from a doctor, then apply for the tag. Few weeks minimum.

    Kids were parking at school using grandma’s handicapped tag.
