The ‘43 Studebaker’s nose wasn’t that big.
In 1943 Studebaker was only manufacturing Staff Cars and Military Trucks. They were both much more attractive than Eno.
More like the looks of someone who’s been run over by a Mack truck.
A sopwith camel seems more appropriate.
Not fair to Studebakers.
Did you ever get the feeling that when someone asks for your honest opinion you need to lie?
Now there is a blast from the past !
A stud baker he’s not.
A Dirty Pipe Cleaner?
I love the way the frame lowered in the last panel to give us that great profile view.
The ’43 Studebaker truck is much prized by collectors.
“After it’s been through the car-crusher…”
His face would definitely stop traffic.
Studebaker/Packard build great cars, and trucks. Lowery designs and quality control, “old” American standards.
Love the strip, but there were no 1943 Studebakers. Studebaker converted their plants to war work, making heavy trucks, B-17 engines (including the engines for all B-17s made from January, 1944, on), and the M29 Weasel tracked vehicle.
Not aerodynamic enough to be a Studebaker.
The great thing about beauty is that age will eventually waste it away.
