Mike Luckovich hits another home run.

While Air Force (Thunderbirds) and Navy (Blue Angels) flyovers may be impressive, and I’m sure the pilots send their best intentions to honor the brave medical workers (from doctors to nurses to those who clean and disinfect and prepare food, and everyone in, around and between), it would mean far more to them to spend the ginormous costs of those flyers on N95 surgical masks, ventilators, adequate testing materials (tests as well as swabs, reagents and other associated supplies) and other PPE.

Oh, and a significant increase in pay (or, at the very minimum, temporary hazard pay) and student loan forgiveness would also be nice.

The Mango Menace has decided that we’re past that stage. Time to move on to something more likely to get him elected.

Nothing helps fight a pandemic like a grossly excessive military budget.

If he’d been around for the Berlin airlift, he’d have loaded planes with golf tees and club headcovers.

The problem was Bonespurs ignored all the warnings and advice, like what the Obama administration left for him, and figured the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria could get help out in time.
