I wish some days felt exactly like a Saturday: Dancing!
Saw a report today about a high-energy dance class in (S Korea I think?) where a single carrier infected a large number of the class, so I’m thinking I won’t be actually dancing for quite awhile.
Even when I was unemployed I kept to a schedule. I got up at 5 AM worked out, did my 4 mile walk, came back, read the news, read the comics, took a shower and got dressed to go to work.
OK, I got dressed more casually than I normally did for work and if I wasn’t going anywhere, I’d skip shaving.
We are creatures of habit. We can either develop good ones or bad ones.
Retirement offers the time and opportunity to do something else with your life, either for enjoyment or for your health. Isolation offers the same possibilities for everyone these days, but avoiding frustration just takes more planning, because it wasn’t your choice to begin with.
