A Boy and His Dog. Wasn’t that a Harlan Ellison story?

Been a while since there’s been a non-coronavirus themed “Lio”…

Oddly enough, the first movie is probably the weirder of the two.

Yes it is, and was made into s movie in 1975 with Don Johnson

If you like jazz fusion music look around for a song entitled ‘A Boy and His Dog’ by the Simon and Bard group. It’s on the Enormous Radio album.

In 1995 a movie was made wherein an actor and actress played father and daughter. Nine years later in The Squid and the Whale those two actors played lovers. The actress accompanied her sister to an audition in 1992 but had no intention of acting. She ended up getting the role her sister was trying out for and was thought to have done very well. One of my favourite Winnipeggers.

Bad news, Ishy: The only squid you’ll see on screen isn’t alive.

Lio should play “A Boy and His Blob” if he can find it.

I don’t think the movie is what Ishy thinks it is.

Good move by Ishy, Lio; that first movie was kinda maybe not right for your viewing pleasure. Ishy just loves these feature-length nature documentaries. I just hope its outcome doesn’t put him into a squeezing funk….
