I like asparagus. I like true goulash (macaroni soup is NOT goulash), but asparagus goulash would not touch these lips. Hungarian goulash that Mom made was braised stewing beef, diced tomatoes, chunked potatoes with Hungarian sweet paprika and a few other herbs/spices. Delicious.
Aw Kate, maybe this is a good time to let Michael and Abby help with meal planning. An occasional picnic (on the porch or in the yard) with food they enjoy, or finding cool, new ways (internet or cookbooks) to prepare the healthy foods you prefer. It might also redirect their tendency to misuse their imagination.
Goulash was the first meal my Dad taught me to make after Mom passed.Elbow mac, ground beef, tomatoes, onion.I use Rotini, now when I make it.Holds the sauce better ;)

Not one until you’ve eaten all your goulash.

Not a fan of asparagus either. Kate spoiled dinner preemptively.

I love asparagus, but I doubt if I’d it it in goulash.
