So many stone jokes, so little imagination…
I recall my older brother (with his flight attendant wife; don’t know if my nephew tagged along or wasn’t born yet then) has been to Blarney castle whose lucky stone you kiss from underneath.
Doubt you receive luck for kissing the stone upside down or not. I do know it is lucky for the people of Blarney.
Some kind of rock is all that matters.
My Australian friend (Irish ancestry) told me the local lads take gleefully pee on the Blarney stone
A bit of Blarney, eh Earl?
Does it work Earl ? If so I want one :-)
Aye it’s only Lucky if you’re Irish .
Blarney. It’s Irish for bullpucky.
The Bologna Stone.
Rock of Ages.
I would think Opal would use it as her personal crystal ball….she could see right through him….
OMG! Opal kissed Earl? IHas this ever happened before? Why didn’t I feel the earth shake?
so little imitation.
Better the kiss of the Opal, than the kiss of the Rolling Pin.
Remember the Katzenjammer Kids? Didn’t the mother run around with a rolling pin?
I just love the way Brian Crane draws Roscoe’s reactions.
“You know how it is— Opal’s happiest when she’s denigrating my existence!”
Opal takes Earl for granite, Earl has Opal slated for a trip to the fabric shop. Shale help me, it’s Crystal clear to me.
A bunch of blarney!
Whats Ed doing behind Earl’s couch?
Roscoe gets in a good snicker and look in the last panel…
