There is only so much ANY administration can do in this unprecedented situation (Although this administration seems to be taking care of their friends). Banks, lenders, landlords, all of us have to accept the challenge to tip-toe through this. Landlords, commercial & residential, do have the law on their side, but should exercise judgement, and compassion for their tenants who are truly living paycheck to paycheck. Banks should do the same with their loans. Those financially stressed may do well if they keep in contact with their lenders/landlords; do not wait for them to contact you. Hopefully, alternate plans could be worked out before any legal action begins. EVERYBODY should accept that losses should be shared, to some degree. I know I am talking Utopia here, especially with the Wealthy Elite chafing at the bit, and their people in the WH and congress. Against this, maybe the Better Angels of our Natures will prevail.
Two or three days faster on the isolation and provision of necessary medical supplies would have been better for the — eventual — economy than what they did spend that time doing. But politicians generally, and the GOP even worse aren’t all that numerate, aren’t all that bright, and ARE very much inclined to talk (platitudes) rather than act. And to act irrationally when they do.
“Boink!” is the sound that thing makes when it hits. “Sh*t!” is the sound you’ll make when looking at a one time $1.2 K compared to $1,000,000,000s of unlimited funds for corporations and their humble owners.
Like the last bailout, trillions for the rich and powerful, crumbs for the rest of us, who will get flattened like that outfielder while the connected watch from the comfort of their gated communities.

Just leave it to Mitch – he will take care of it in a fair and timely manner.

If this were a real war, Trump would have the soldiers on the front lines bidding for rifles with the enemy!
Yea for capitalism!
Everything is for sale — masks, ventilators, and lives!
