President Obama’s administration provided the incoming Trump administration with a thoroughly developed pandemic response plan which was promptly circular filed. The U.S. is seeing the results of President Trump’s “leadership” and “planning” abilities in action during this crisis.

Last night on AHC, American Heroes Channel, ran a show that originally aired in March of 2017. How the World Ends: Episode 5 Pandemic PandemoniumThey predicted this pandemic. It was no surprise, nor unexpected.

It is questionable if it was ignored by tRump and his administration or not. He fired the CDC upper staff and cut the Obama CDC budget, and cut the National Security health position.

Covid-19 was not in Trump’s plan for re-election. Blaming Obama, media, and the Democrats didn’t work. Trump using his personal propaganda machine, Faux News, didn’t work. Pretending the virus isn’t really that bad failed miserably. Trump tried everything he could BS the virus away. Mega failure! Critical time lost. Now he claims that he knew this was going to be bad all along. Nice try. With Trump, failure always seems to be the end result. It’s what he does best, besides lying.

There are going to pandemic warnings (and real pandemics) periodically, no matter what. But it would be nice if we were willing to invest in preventive measures and a stronger healthcare system, to be able to handle them…

In November give Trump das boot.

Project Aura was initiated in 2006 after the SARS scare. It was supposed to provide 10k ventilators, and other supplies for a respiratory “epidemic” EACH year, over 15 yrs. If it was funded and implemented, we should have plenty of supplies on hand. Anyone that held office from then to now is accountable.

And Trump decommissioned the minesweeper (disbanded the CDC task force) after he took office.
