Mom would simply put each of us in a different room. I tried to see to it that there was a book in any possible time-out room, so I was usually fine. But then I seldom got timed out anyway. Hard to get into a yelling match when you simply aren’t interested.
took me a moment to realize Val was pulling the “welcome mat” further away from the door so that she could close and lock it. I think I need a 2nd cup of coffee.
