I took my truck in to get the tires rotated and balanced. After 2 hours I started watching how the mechanic was working. He’d take a tire off and put it on the balancing machine and leave it. He then work on 3 or 4 other cars in a similar fashion before returning to mine. I tried to explain how inefficient and error-likely this type of work is, but it fell on deaf ears. So I had them put the wheel back on (he had only balanced one wheel in that time) and left. Not surprisingly they were out of business within the year.
