Why is it the court’s job to endorse OR condemn activism? That’s the job of the people, of the legislators, of the administration of the various political regions. The courts are  supposed to treat everyone equally regardless of any of the categories that we make up to keep ourselves distinct. That’s what the blindfold represents. Not a lack of information, but a lack of interest in what your skin color is or whether you have whichever dangly bits.
