One of the things that is driving the current market downturn: Much less travel, which is among other things lowering the price of gasoline.

    Everything’s connected.

Our company is dealing with parts shortages for parts coming from China. We haven’t received some shipments since before the Chinese New Year.

The United States has several military bases in Japan. We could have transported U.S. citizens from the cruise ship under quarantine to medical facilities on some of these bases for treatment. A REAL president might have thought of this.

The hysteria over the Wuhan flu is reaching its apex. Even so, although I wouldn’t cancel traveling to an already scheduled meeting, I’m glad my overseas trips don’t reoccur this year until fall.

Not to fear! Trump says the virus is under control (he’s the only one that thinks that). Trump says the stock market is really great (even though it’s plunged to it’s lowest in two years). He wouldn’t lie to us, now would he???

Personal opinion, I think that Public Health agencies in every country are in fact afraid that this will spread across the globe, because our world is so interconnected. All I can add is look at the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918-1920 when traffic between countries was so much less than it is today and I think you will then understand the concerns(Estimate 40-50 million killed with over 500 million infected when our planet had fewer than 2 billion people)

I understand Jared has a solution for this crisis. It will be made public simultaneously with his father’s tax returns. /s

Trump has preempted dealing with a pandemic by dismantling the nation’s pandemic response team in 2018!

Just got back from a cruise that took us to Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Curacao and The Bahamas. Didn’t see a problem anywhere, including the ship.
