It may be that the time has come to set up rules in the US House to provide for some bipartisan support of the impeachment sent to the Senate. Perhaps at least 30% of the Presidents party would have to vote in favor of impeachment before the indictment is sent over to the Senate for punishment. That would’ve eliminated most of the pain we all suffered as a nation from the impeachment process, both with President Trump and President Clinton. In both cases, it was a foregone conclusion that neither president was going to be removed from office.
kakistocracy… a lousy dysfunctional form of government to "be ruled by the worst " that civilization has to offer over the worst, meanest haters that a country can produce. Does that sound familiar?
@PickledPete: The hypocrisy is written into the genes of our government and society. A nation which when born claimed to be a democratic republic, but allowed owning slaves and even allowed those slaves to be counted for the purpose of giving the slave states more votes. It took a war to make slavery illegal. And then, to allow a dimbulb to be elected President, the southern blacks were effectively sold back into slavery by the Republican party. And no one in the North really cared. Fast forward to a racist President who made discrimination in Federal Service a policy while fighting a war to make the world safe for Democracy. The Civil Rights Act happened because of acts of courage and continuous television coverage, exposing the hateful South.
And then we could go through the history of women’s rights.

If they had used Federal criminal justice rules and standards the Impeachment wouldn’t have made it out of Committee. You of all people KNOW the Dems didn’t come remotely close to hitting the mark on evidence that was admissible and/or relevant to the “charges”.
Justice never had a role, not from day one. The Dems chose a purely political action.

You guys are the first to cry out for humanitarian justice for the world, yet you have a would-be mafia boss for president. . .and the logic is?

The Dems should impeach Trump again for his criminal actions, they should have done that in the first place.
