Nothing is more attractive to a fickle woman than a man who isn’t interested or a man who is taken. It’s not even the desire to be with the guy, its the competition with the “other woman.”

She doesn’t deserve the time of day from him.

She’s sweeter than all the girls and I’ve met quite a few

Nobody in all the world can do what she can do

And so I’m telling you this time you’d better stop

Another girl who will love me ’til the end

Through thick and thin she will always be my friend

This is going to cause a lot of trouble.

I’ll never get Wendy. They’re friends, yet she can’t stand him and insults him on a regular basis and tries to lose him frequently. Now she won’t leave when she was given the golden opportunity? Friends like these, man…..friends like these.

Just tell her you found someone who ios kind and care about you and she can beat it.

Time to make a decision, Norman.

I notice that readers are giving Norman warnings and advice. That is the beauty of this strip: when it works, it makes us squirm.

Tell her to take a hike. You owe her less than nothing.

If she’s still there when Echo arrives, just introduce her as the dregs of a failed relationship.

Life gets complicated/interesting

Norman is still in high school. I’m sure he’s allowed to have two girl friends if he wants. He’s not going to marry them both or have carnal relations with them both, after all.

All the times she told Norm to get lost and she can’t do it herself.

Have any of you seen a kids show called “Mr. Young”? I caught a couple of episodes last night on NetFlix. I only mention it because one of the girls on that show is “Echo.”

Norman – time to do the right thing. Get rid of the one that couldn’t care less about you and go with the one that has really liked you and kissed you.

Come to think of it I never seen stuck-up wendy with another guy. Maybe Norman is the only guy to show any interest in her. Now is a good time to insult her and tell her to get lost.
