Pluggers are able to do this because they choose cars and trucks that are built with pride and built to last-unlike the throwaway cars and trucks of today.;-D

You’re a plugger if you still have actual bumper stickers instead of magnets

Never have understood the “value” (except to the automobile industry) of having an integrated, color-keyed, vinyl “bumper” on a vehicle. They should all still be chrome and metal…. or if they HAVE to use plastic for weight reduction…. go back to the 80s style of having the plastic bumper be a more “scuff resistant” textured dark grey plastic. At least both of those styles can allow a person to use the bumper to push/dislodge another vehicle without damage to the pushing vehicle.

“Heaven, the only place to live happily ever after” bumper sticker caused people to honk and wave at me. The first time it happened I was wondering, annoyedly (please, no grammar police, thank you), why they were honking and then I remembered the sticker, so I never got mad after that.

I remember the period when the Manufactures did not put a Rear Bumper on the trucks and sold it as an “Option/Accessary” you Had to Pay For. I always wondered How they Got Away with that as I Believe the Federal Law Stated that All vehicles were required to Have Bumpers ???? :-} ( The Aftermarket Bumper Manufacturers sure Made a Fortune Off of That. Was there a Connection There ? )

My 2007 Jeep was recalled to have a trailer hitch installed for protection in case of a rear-end collision. They installed the hitch for free, but not the power connection for a trailer.

Back in the ’70’s, I’d pasted a “Pray for the success of Atheism” sticker on my new Buick, thinking that readers would ‘get’ the irony. Not so with my door-knocking, tract-spreading “Christ Jesus Is Lord” people in the next apartment building..$300 damages caused by their kids’ scraping it off my car and a VERY heated exchange of opinions in the separating driveway..
