Not pro-life, pro birth. Many don’t give a damn about your life after birth.

Well, I guess he knows which side of the divide he’s buttered on. I wish the US would become more uniformly pro-life too. And not just pro-birth, which is what the anti-abortionists are about. Well, that and punishing pregnant women, particularly if they’re poor or brown.

The children depicted here are too old. They must have been the disposable ones that weren’t taken care of.

“Yeah! Cuz I’m an unborn baby, and everyone knows there’s nothing better than being a baby in a world where NOBODY LOVES YOU, CARES FOR YOU, OR HELPS YOU IN ANY WAY AT ALL! I sure wish I could have been an unwanted child.”

(I guess Gary’s cartoon makes perfect sense from the party of reality denial.)

Donald Trump will never be pro-life. Neither he nor Varvel knows what that truly means.

“I see an interlocking directorate of death that binds our whole culture. An unspoken agreement that we will solve our problems by killing my people in various ways, a declaration that certain people are expendable, outside the pale. A decent society should no more have an abortion clinic than the Pentagon.” — Daniel Berrigan, S.J.

The invasion of Iraq is a prime example of the Republican concept of ‘pro life’.

    .

    Republicans are not pro life.

They are not even anti abortion, except for poor women, especially non whites.

    .

They are quite enthusiastic about punishing sinners, especially poor women who are not white.

The so-called “Pro-Life” faction is NOT pro life. At all. Here’s why: 1) If they wanted to reduce the number of abortions, they would not do so by the means of the “pro-life” lobby. Their methods do nothing to reduce unwanted pregnancies but simply criminalize women and give more power to men over them. The best methods for reducing abortion are ample and affordable birth control, actual and factual sex education, and good jobs with livable wages. These are proven to reduce unwanted pregnancies and abortions. 2) Biblically speaking, abortion is acceptable. There are tests for adultery that include forcing a woman to take a formula designed to induce abortion. The penalty for causing an unwanted abortion is a woman is a fine (while the penalty for killing a living person is death). There is no biblical warrant that says a fetus is equal to an already born person. 3) “Pro-life” folks have no interest in life after birth. They cheer when poison is poured into the water of children in Flint. They applaud when children are ripped from their parents at the border, with little chance of ever seeing their parents again. They jump at the chance to sentence people to the death penalty. They hate the idea of normal people having a living wage. There are simple ways to reduce abortion without criminalizing people who feel they need one. These cultists have no interest in them.

The more children born, the more that can be put in cages. The “pro-lifers” love that.

This was not about Trump being Pro-Life. His ratings are starting to fall so he needed a Photo-Op and this was the first thing that came up. Plan to see more of his Photo-Ops. Just a smoke screen.

How many abortions do you suppose Trump is responsible for?

A detailed study of the New Testament reveals it never mentions going to heaven. It appears the “die and go to heaven” myth was created in the Middle Ages when the influence of the church was dropping.

It is a good idea to ask the question: What happens when abortion is totally outlawed? It turns out that we already know the answer, if we only want to look at our own history. From the Wikipedia article: “Various anti-abortion laws have been in force in each state since at least 1900.“ So, we’ve been where various factions want to take us back to. The next question: did legal prohibition eliminate abortion operations? Well, no. Quite the contrary, women ,who had the need for whatever reason, could readily find a person in the business of abortion. Quite often, this person had no medical practice standing, no training and no qualifications whatsoever to perform medical procedures such as abortion. In other words, butchers. Butchers who prospered. And, women who died along with the fetus/baby. It should be clear that this is a place that we do not take the USA back to. A place where antiabortion stances require actively ignoring the back alley butcher/abortion shops.

Trump is also the first president to:

    - be “in love” with communist dictators, even after they thumb their nose at him

    - boast about committing crimes because he’s too stupid to realize they’re crimes

    - run a concentration camp for kids

    - try to cheat an election – then did it a second time. After warning in a TV interview that he would do it.

    - doctor his inauguration photos

    - conduct secret meetings in the Oval Office with Russians

    - sexually assault the flag

    - believe airplanes are invisible

    - run a scam university

    - brought back coal, asbestos, mercury, steam catapults, and gaslighting

    - regularly hold klan rallies

    - believe the noise from wind turbines cause cancer

    - daydream out loud about screwing his daughter (assuming it hasn’t already happened)

    - Not know about Pearl Harbor (post FDR, of course)

    - commit charity fraud

    - have his own propaganda TV network

    - thoroughly embody all seven deadly sins

    - smear POWs and gold star families

    - be unable to read beyond a 3rd grade level

    - possess a Cosby-esque number of sexual assault victims

..and many more! He’s a real trailblazing man of god! I left out things like “pack the cabinet with crooks and grifters” since Reagan did that first.

Wouldn’t undersized cherubs be more appropriate to the point than K-5 age “angels”? Hey… How did they get there without being baptized? And hey! lf life starts at conception, where’s the legislation that requires child support retroactive to that event, including prenatal care, hospitalization for the delivery, followed by garnishment for family support, followed by child support to age 18, including daycare, health insurance and educational costs? Let’s take it seriously across the board men! I’m sure all GOP and evangelical men are totally willing to walk the walk here…

The opposite of pro-choice is not pro-life. It is forced-birth. If they really want to stop abortions they would support birth control and comprehensive sex education.

Right, “Pro-Life” where you force the woman to carry a fetus, yet deny her funding for access to prenatal care, checkups, nutrition, or even help pay for hospital costs for delivery. After you force her to give birth to a child she didn’t want or couldn’t take care of in the first place, you then abandon her (as if you ever supported her in the first place), and cut funding for food, housing, education and tell her that the child is her responsibility and if she doesn’t raise it “right” she will be put in jail.

“Pro-Life” indeed. You don’t give a crap about the mother, and none really for the child.

As for Trump, he doesn’t give a rat’s patootie at all (he was pro-choice before). It;’s just another pander to his cult followers to keep them in the Cult of Trump. It costs him nothing which is what he really cares about the issue.
