Linus’ blanket is unsafe at any speed.

Mr. Van Pelt. We regret that a fault has been detected in a batch of our security blankets (blue), wherein the intended sense of security in the user may be accompanied by a heightened callousness. Symptoms may include throwing a party for your best friend and then cancelling at the last minute.

The blanket is hazardous to his health!

Corona?

Those dang blankets and their recalls! The only reason I can think of for a true recall, not that companies would know who bought their blankets, would be flamable fabric. Child pajamas, in particular, were notorious for catching on fire with great ease, years ago.

A letter from his nagging granny?

I don’t recall this strip. Too bad for Linus!

If it ain’t serviced with frequent washing.. it gets recalled for the factory to do it.. All part of the original warranty.

Not flame resistant?

Somebody snitched on Linus for removing the “Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law” label.

As Lucy looks befuddled, I’d say she didn’t send the letter. Given how she tries to get rid of his blanket, and her inability to pull off such a look when she’s the reason something like this happens, she’d not look befuddled had she sent the letter.

My VW was recalled… nine months after I got the problem solved on my own.

All of us feel the same way after this stupid Corona!

Maybe they used fake asbestos and it catches fire easily…
