The new cable boxes don’t have buttons or an infrared sensor for the remote. Which is why I finally cut the cable, because I could no longer use my computer to change channels and record shows. I went to Youtube TV, which has every channel I watch (except for Comedy Channel), has unlimited free DVR space and all the local channels, and most importantly costs half as much as I was paying. Good riddance cable. I won’t be missing you.

4sure! Last summer, I just “decided” that I’d give painting a try=> inspired by some random coffee stains on my table, I let my mind go & let my hands swirl & splash the paint where “it” wanted 2go, thus creating a small series of abstracts a la Jackson Pollock, “Nebulous” I-IV. While I’m happy with how they looked in the end, it was the doing of it, being in those moments, ie the journey that was the exciting, enriching part of the experience. Excelsior!
