Too bad the evil one’s life expectancy isn’t cut short…all the crap he eats and spews, you would think it would have taken its toll on the troll by now……
You can feel the desperation in the post-Eisenhower “Republican” party as they are forced to use propaganda, disinformation, gerrymandering, registration purging, anti-voting, and conspiracy theories to manipulate voters rather than sound proactive policies to quell the irrational fears of changing demographics in America. They seem to have no viable plans for dealing with immigration, economic disparity, education/training, climate change, clean air and water, affordable housing, affordable/accessible healthcare, public safety, gun violence vs gun ownership, or and of the other issue expected of representatives of We the People. Rather, they seem to attack the very idea of government of the people, by the people, and for the people, focusing instead on affluent white “Christain” males who seem to hold Old Testament tenets and seem incapable (even when controlling all branches of government) of dealing with ways to add value for all Americans and continue pursuing the old failed supply-side polices of Mellon, Coolidge, et al into the 21st century. The unnecessary cutting of regulations is shortening the lives of Americans and actually cutting into profits. There is no rational reason to pursue policies like this, disregarding facts as though they were the equivalent to their political fantasies.
3 days ago – After 2010, US life expectancy plateaued and in 2014 it began reversing, dropping for three consecutive years — from 78.9 years in 2014, to 78.6 in 2017. This is despite the US spending the most on health care per capita than any other country in the world. cnn
I remember the time they rushed me to the hospital, for the first phase of my physical. {sarcasm} They said they needed to do some bloodwork, Apparently, you have to be in a hospital for that.

Is that the life expectancy of Americans or the country itself?

What’s encouraging is that the average age of both Republicans AND FAUX Noise Viewers is somewhere between 70 and DEAD!

Misery is Slow – {rhyme}
In misery, time’s flow // is torturously slow: -
- This regime of Trump’s // has us deep in the dumps,
so it seems as though // we’ve a long row to hoe.
It seems like forever.
Yikes! Will NEVER
this {expletive deleted} go?

There’s a reason for everything: Less healthy environment? People feel they have nothing to live for? Poor health care services???

Good Policies got Trumped – {rhyme}
Our national interests got trumped {got Trumped}
by him against whom we Lefties have grumped
as being the Cause that our prospects have flumped,
‘cause lotsa good policies got Trumped {got dumped}.
… Coda:
From the White House this chump
should be chased {should be bumped},
and out of his [swamp] swump
the effluvium pumped.

Politicians at Fault – {1.40 limericks and a coda}
We watch our environs wilt
and wonder: Who has the guilt?
… Politicians who whore // for drillings offshore,
while they ignore // the damage galore.
They’re guilty up to the hilt.
… Coda:
Mother Nature is {killed} kilt; – // her coffin is built
by pols’ flirtations // with fuel corporations.
