Well, they’d have to report verified facts without prejudice or bias, so they are absolutely incapable of regaining any sense of credibility.

That only works for the audience that’s 60 and older

Start reporting news and not making news then lacing it with opinion.

The worst false news story of the Vietnam war was one of Cronkite’s covering the Tet Offensive. I was there and know his coverage was pure B.S.

Cronkite was so dedicated to being objective that he didn’t even vote.

Yup, now a days they can’t even report a car wreck without an opinion. And Lord, when it is a murder, they have everyone within ten feet convicted and strung up.

Cronkite would be appalled at what’s become of US news media.

1) quit talking as fast as the proverbial used car salesmen 2) quit mislabeling your reports as stories.

Cronkite was hardly unbiased — he was viewed as credible and was thus able to push his agenda. He was partially responsible for our loss in Vietnam

There was a time, many years ago, that journalists at least pretended to be objective.
