    Failed Mueller investigation?

Is that why Barr suppressed it?

Mueller clearly laid out the Rump’s obstruction of justice, ho hum. The hearings clearly demonstrate the Rump’s abuse of power, yawn. The republicans are just “following orders” and allowing it all to slide, YIKES!

I guess two honest cartoons in a row would be too much for Kelley to manage.

There’s no hearsay or conjecture, only corroborated testimony and evidence.

And we know you don’t care about the bill since you didn’t mind the price tag on the Benghazi hearings.

“Important legislative priorities” go unaddressed because McConnell likes it that way.

“Legislative priorities go unaddressed”? You mean like the gun, voting security and other 400+ bills that have made it out of the house only to be stopped in the Senate without any hearings by McConnell? Can’t blame that one on the donkeys.

As I’m sure others have pointed out, 1) the Mueller Report came in at a profit, 2) it was not useless, as it proved beyond a doubt that Russians interfered with the 2016 election and bagged some of those involved, 3) The Democratic House IS passing legislation while it is the GOP-led Senate (thanks Mitch) that’s grinding everything to a halt. So if you want legislation passed, you need more Democrats.

The last two panels of this cartoon were accurate – the first two – not so much.

Guys go easy on Kelley. It’s tough being a Republican cartoonist these days. Not one chance to draw an honest cartoon.

Kelley keeps putting out those alternative facts. maybe he should have actually read the report and watched the hearings, instead of relying on Barr and Fox & Friends to give him the “Off The Cliff” Notes.

What conjecture? The hearings deal in facts. Republicans refuse to face facts.

Skelley, I wonder you didn’t get whiplash from your Republican overlords pulling the leash so severely when you criticized Hair Groppenfuror last strip. Now you’re a good boy again.

    1. The Mueller investigation was NOT an investigation by the Dems. 2. It wouldn’t be conjecture or hearsay or months… if the administration didn’t ignore subpoenas and didn’t obstruct justice. 3. The only legislation this administration cares about is getting more money and getting political dirt. 4. Exactly

The Donkey’s riposte in the final panel is perfectly accurate. Except that Ol’ Punkinhead cares more about damaging a political opponent that anything else.

Fixed: “Because military officers, ambassadors, and government officials with direct knowledge of the President’s conversation and actions have testified that the President of the United States unconstitutionally withheld Congressionally approved foreign military aid to pressure the leader of another country’s government to dig up dirt on his personal political rival, and that his administration then tried to cover up the full transcript of that telephone conversation.”

Sadly, this entire effort is looking more each day like the Kenneth Star fishing expedition performed on Clinton – and without a doubt it will have the same ultimate result.

Over 300 House bills are sitting on McConnell’s desk, stop the right wing coup, reinstate democracy where people vote on things.

There is a real and serious question: Impeachment should be a last resort, and it should not be used in response to simple maladministration. But what if the President is not just a bumbling idiot with inhumane polices, but actually engaged in abuse of power? The power of impeachment is built into the Constitution; it wasn’t put there just to fill up space on the parchment. The Founders must have imagined that some day there might be a reason to use it. If this is not such a moment, if these circumstances don’t justify impeachment, then what circumstances would justify it?

The sworn testimony from people directly involved in the Ukraine fiasco have made it clear the Administration was trying to leverage political help from Zelensky in exchange for releasing aid & a White House meeting.

Everyone agrees that’s wrong. You can either believe Giuliani went rogue & Trump wasn’t paying enough attention, or that Trump directed the whole thing.

Refusing to let Rudy, Pompeo or Mulvaney to testify denies the House it’s right & duty to conduct oversight. Imagine if Hillary & Obama told the House to go pound sand when they wanted to investigate Benghazi.

I don’t know. Using Uncle Sam to represent the GOP talking points is rather insulting. It should be an elephant with Uncle Sam shaking his head in disgust; oh and with grim reaper McConnell in the background chopping up all the passed House legislation that he refuses to allow for debate in the Senate.

Amazing how the GOP sycophants never mention the fines collected, the convictions or the jail terms. And let’s ignore the pile of legislation that Moscow Mitch has buried.

“Legislative priorities unaddresed”? Pullleeease, Steevo, pay attention. Focus. Do you know how many bills the house has sent to the senate over the last 18 months? (I’m going for “no”.)
