Bloomberg decided to run when it started to look like Warren (or someone like her) was slipping ahead of Biden. That’s seriously bad for people who are obscenely rich. I dunno if the 500 or 600 richest got together to decide who, or if it was an ego thing, buit either way, his entry just exactly then makes it perfectly obvious what was driving him.
.1%. That’s the same percentage of stop-and-frisk stops that caught someone for a violent crime. Oh, but now he’s sorry. .1% is probably also the percentage of New Yorkers who accept that apology.
He may be the best Billionaire running for President and his tactic for not losing in Iowa and NH (don’t be there) is clever. I agree with him on a lot of issues and think he did some (or a lot) of good for NYC as mayor, but still I hope we can avoid being asked to vote for him next November.
This is OK. He’s another buzzbomb designed to keep anyone from getting 51% at the first round of voting at the Dem convention, hereby freeing up the party elders to bring in the real Trump contender. Adults adulting. The party will remains in good hands. Buzz away.

The mayor thinks he’s another annointed one waiting to lead us poor benighted slobs out of the wilderness.

Keep in mind, former republican NY mayor Giuliani ran for president in 2008 and barely eight years later he was a babbling idiot.

Yet Sanders and tRump, with the same reputation, didn’t lose support in 2016.
