The attempt to force the Ukrainian government to subvert American democracy by starting a sham inquiry into Biden went on for more than two months with plenty of witnesses and transcripts. The whistle blower is no longer of any relevance now, except as the focal point of Republicans’ attempt at trying to divert attention away from Trump’s treason against this nation.

Could this be considered a parody of a political cartoon?

If you can’t refute the facts about or actions of Tiny in this matter attack the judicial (congressional system) – confusion is very, very good.

Lets not forget that the ‘transcript’ itself is the parody.

Yes, you will be punished, because we made laws to protect the weak from people like billionaire presidents of powerful nations.

Bok, you want a despot ruling us? Or a president, leading us?

If our president does not follow AND respect the rules, he is a despot.

You need a new stick or is that shtick? We are way beyond the whistle blower at this point.

First, trump parodies his opponents all the time. Why shouldn’t Schiff? Second, whistleblowers are afforded certain protections by law, one of which is anonymity. More importantly, everything they asserted has been corroborated by several people with primary knowledge, including trump himself with the summary of his “perfect” phone call.

Wha? What “real president concerned about his country and its citizens”? Did I miss an emergency election?

The released testimonies are far worse than anything Schiff has said. So 45 will be impeached… then we will see just how low the GOP will sink. If he is not removed (which he won’t be) the GOP will be no more… it will officially be the party of Trump.

It took incredible bravery to blow the whistle on President Trump. This person has put his or her career, livelihood, safety, reputation and possibly life in danger by coming forward. It would have been much easier to put his head down and say nothing. Most people would do precisely that. I can only imagine coming to work day in and day out, listening to office chatter on who “did it”. This person is likely living in fear of her opponent who has no compunction about ruining lives and has the might of the United States at his beck and call.

Devin Nunes proved himself to be a psychotic liar.

Time for some soul searching, Chip.

Seems that Bok wants his legacy to be “Stooge for Trump!”

Mr. Bok, I believe you are trying to focus our attention on the whistleblower as a distraction. Most people with two brain cells to rub together are aware that there is more to this story that a phone call. The parade of witnesses making depositions detailing the same story about the President’s extortion plot to benefit his re-election campaign have made the whistleblower no longer relevant.

We, the people of the United States, are the accuser! He works for us.

The whistle blower has become irrelevant with the testimony of today’s witnesses.

Chip, the extent to which you find the smell of Trump’s underwear appealing is appalling.

The whistleblower was going to be the star witness. Until it leaked out that he had met with the committee BEFORE filing his complaint. That is a violation of the rules.

And, he lied about it on the complaint form. That is a felony. Is it any wonder that Schiff suddenly reversed course?

The whistleblower is/was not an accuser; simply someone who knew the wording on the phone call was highly suspect & reported it.

What will it take for people to understand that this is not a trial. The purpose of impeachment proceedings is to gather information to determine whether the House has enough evidence to justify articles of impeachment to be sent to the Senate for the actual trial.

The whistleblower is not “an accuser.” The whistleblower took advantage of a program that exists for people to anonymously report malfeasance without fear of reprisals. That report is then checked for its accuracy. So far, everything the whistleblower has reported has been corroborated so the person’s identify is not important. There have also been serious death threats and threats of violence against this person so it is doubly important, even aside from following the provisions of the whistleblower act, not to reveal the person’s identity.
