It occurred to me a long time ago that guards have to spend most of their lives in prison. Sure, they get to leave, but they still spend most of their day in prison.
I would appreciate paying taxes, working in fields or serving the King—————for sure.
I’m surprised that he didn’t ask for cot space in the cell after saying that about the right to pay taxes!
