I see they’re {ahem} both “good” in the kitchen.

@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , sober again is always outguessed by Flo about the horse that he picks and losing his bet makes a mess in their kitchen :o) my avatar is my birth sign Leo roaring with frustration like I am , how was your day? our day is a holiday in Malta when we remember all souls of our relatives and go visit their graves and put flowers have fun and BCNU pal.

After a 200 to 1 winner Flo will need to guard her purse with her life.

Flo bets the same way my wife plays card games that she’s not familiar with. She’ll just throw a card that “looks right” or pulls a “I don’t know, maybe this one will work” … and wins! She’s been doing that for decades.

Just go with the flow, Flo!

I wonder how much money Flo put on her horse.If it was even a small amount, at 200 to 1 odds, she’d rack in a tidy profit. Maybe they should go out to dinner.

I hope that Andy doesn’t burn down the house.

Flo should use some of those winnings to have someone clean the kitchen and take ALL the trash out.

At 200-1, they should be eating out!

Andy has to do better in the kitchen than he does picking horses. Couldn’t do worse.

Your winnings will end up at the pub, anyway. Might as well let him wreck the kitchen, too.

This is something close to what happened to me when I was married to my first, late, great, unlamented ex-wife when we were living in Ireland.

I used to study the forms, chart the horses’ stats, listen to the tips while wifey would bet on a horse because she liked the jockey’s colors or the horse’s name.

She, of course, much to my chagrin, would not only win more races than me but profit from the ridiculous side bets I used to make with her.

Seems like a lose-lose situation for Andy. Plus he probably won’t want to eat what he makes.

Andy should let Flo pick his horses.

They’re probably having Andy’s horse for dinner.

Looks like they both lost.

Andy should let Flo pick the winners from now on.

Looks like it’s time to grab a phone and dial a takeaway.
