Creeping through the dense, deep fallen foliage, Fleshy’s tail looked at first like a noisy worm emerging from the ground. It was not until panel 2 that I realized just great a depth of fallen leaves Monty had allowed to accumulate over his yard. Fleshy is right! Get that rake busy, Monty!

In my experience, cats like creeping through fallen leaves. But we never let them get quite that deep.

Thank God he’s using a rake. I can’t think of anything more annoying than leaf blowers.
