Trump is responsible for a death on Fifth Ave. Man died in a fire in a Trump building after Trump lobbied to keep from having to install sprinklers.

Ain’t that a shame, we’re (the voters) the ones to blame. It’s never Tiny’s fault. If we, the whole nation had done our civic duty and voted, he would not be in office. (Disclaimer – I haven’t missed voting in any election here in Oregon since 1965, when I first became eligible, but that doesn’t excuse me from not working harder or contributing more to the Clinton campaign)

This ‘toon is already out of date, given the reaction by even Trump’s staunchest Senatorial supporters to his abandoning the Kurds.

Well, one of the possible bases for impeachment is Treason. And the Constitution defines “Treason” as follows:

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Unfortunately, the Constitution does not define “Enemies”.

I would think that a power committing genocide against one of our staunch battlefront military allies would qualify that power as an “Enemy” and that providing them with an opportunity (essentially “encouraging” them) to do so would qualify as “giving them Aid and Comfort”. But in today’s political environment, I have scant hope that the concept will even be raised.
