Same thing happens to me when I go to the buffet at Golden Corral, only I quickly forget and keep going back for more, although I think the doggie food is better than some of the stuff they serve.

Eat, barf, eat again. Repeat till bag is empty then look for more food.

I have some friends who leave the bag of dog food unsecured in the cupboard, despite having a huge problem with mice in the house for years. They recently opened up a wall while doing some remodeling and found a huge, rotting, wormy cache of dog food hidden away inside. I highly recommend sealed plastic containers.

Owner and pet, one just slightly smarter than the other.

I remember a story about a Beagle who got into an unlocked pantry and ate a whole, 50lb bag of dog food! Thus proving that dogs are stomachs with legs!

Predators are hard wired to eat as much as they can, since, in the wild, it may be quite a while before they eat again. Pets are, basically, wild at heart. That’s why we love them.
