Jamie Macintire’s Daily on Defense (9/25) reported that Trump now claims he held up military assistance because he wanted “America’s European allies to pay for the military hardware Ukraine needs to fight separatists backed by Moscow.”

This is just the latest explanation he has given. He lies instinctively and with little thought. Here, he fabricates a scenario in which he uses executive privilege to thwart the legislative purpose of Congress.

Because withholding military aid approved be Congress to extort a foreign government into getting dirt on your political opponent is the same as not eating your vegetables. This raises an uncomfortable question, is Kelley really that stupid or is he without any moral scruples?

Soliciting a foreign government for dirt on your political opponent is exactly what the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign did against Trump in 2016. They also had spies within the Trump campaign and currently have holdover bureaucrats spying on Trump. The CIA and FBI are corrupt nests of vipers.

And right now, there seems to be evidence of very-wrong-doing by 45, and so, there’s investigation.

This was my opinion on this subject until the Ukraine situation——————————————————————————————No one could reasonably believe that Trump is not guilty of lots and lots of stuff. The problem is that I know a bunch of people who UNreasonably believe it. And, a whole bunch of other people who are marginally interested and would believe that the news reports, in which Trump would declare that since the senate found him innocent he is pure as the driven snow. The idea that it is the moral, patriotic, honorable thing to impeach him because he is obviously guilty makes some sense. It makes more sense to believe that it is the moral, patriotic, honorable thing to do what is best for this country, and setting Trump up to be declared innocent by the senate is not in the best interests of this country.======================Now, the Democrats have no choice. To fail to call for impeachment on this issue makes the Democrats part of the corruption that the Trump administration represents. And, the Republicans have the choice of either voting to impeach or explaining their failure to do so to the the people that they represent in the next election.

Is that really the best you could come up with? Better if you took a day off to gather your thoughts.

This may be the best “bait and switch” the Democrats have ever pulled. They put up Biden to get Trump worked up about meeting him in the General Election and he panics and does the stupidest thing he could do which is to blackmail a country’s leader to get dirt on Joe and then get caught at it. That clears the way for the Dems to actually start impeachment proceedings and then Elizabeth Warren becomes the Democratic nominee in the General and Trump is impeached (even if he isn’t convicted) and ends up losing the General to Warren. He gets booted out of the office and goes to jail compliments of the Southern District of NY prosecutors. And all the Trumpaholics drown in their beer!

This cartoon makes no sense… seeing as though this President has done numerous deeds that others would have been impeached for. Yet he hasn’t … until now. Actually it was the GOP who was trying to bait the left into impeachment for a while now… and we can see why… they’ve had these toons and responses and spins all cued up… Kind of throws a wrench in the plan now that clear evidence has turned up though

Even if that’s true, it still wrong. Because that’s saying that getting another government to spend money is more important to him than the defense of an independent democratic country.
