When you get to choose the administrators, you have chosen how the agency will behave. And you-know-who chooses only the very best administrators. For a particularly egocentric version of “best”.

Heard on TV Thurs night. “We did not fight the war for independence from England only to put a tyrant in charge.”

What I heard tonight should be enough to straighten curly hair and put more than a few curls in straight hair. 16 months till the next election. Can we afford to wait that long????

If he did indeed do what has been speculated, a very fast and self serving only quid pro quo was initiated with a foreign Gov’t and that is clearly something that screams for immediate attention.

Mr. Morin certainly got the flag right.

This is SO EFFING TRUE that it’s SCARY AS HELL!!!!!

My fear is that the US is headed for a constitutional crisis and the constitution will lose. And the destruction is being aided and abetted by Trump and his entire administration. Wake up America.

If the rumor is true, and Trump threatened some sort of aid to Ukraine if they don’t follow up on the corruption investigation that involved Biden’s coke head son Hunter and others, Trump should be held accountable.

But so should Joe for doing the same thing in 2016. Maybe Obama. too. Joe Biden brags about how he threatened to pull $1 billion in loan guarantees from Ukraine if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. The prosecutor, who was fired, was leading a corruption investigation into a company that employed Biden’s son, Hunter.

Biden freely admitted to his role in having Shokin removed in during an event sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

“I remember going over (to Ukraine), convincing our team … that we should be providing for loan guarantees. … And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from (then Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko) and from (then-Prime Minister Arseniy) Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor (Shokin). And they didn’t…” he said.

“They were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, … we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, ‘You have no authority. You’re not the president.’ … I said, call him. I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. … I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch. He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”

The Republican coup is almost complete.

How could anyone be surprised? Barr’s “Job application” essay was immoral, illegal, and (to judge by the look of the man) fattening. His performance is wholly up to standard, if your standard is “elastic values”.

I hope, pray, and trust that every last one of those shameless Trump-butt kissing, self-centered con men (and women) will be truly held accountable for the damage they’ve caused, or allowed to happen to our country.
