I guess I’ve watched too many WWII movies over the years. I see some kind of Nazi officer in the last panel.

If I were writing this as one of those afterschool specials, Chance would be dealing with and achieving in spite of, oh, say Asperger’s syndrome. Or some other condition “on the spectrum.”

In all reality , Please Grandma don’t sit by Charlie’s step dad at my games . Did I tell you Chance that I’m learning enough about football to complain about the refs ? Yes Grandma for the fourth time alreadý. If it gets to be too much we’ll work on it together , thanks Grandpa .

We’ll work on it together, now let’s go play some checkers on the giant board in the kitchen.

P1- Dengue Fever. A mosquito-borne viral disease occurring in tropical and subtropical areas. WTH did Kaz do? Tap a few keys to impress GilPa with an irrelevant statement that has nothing to do with Milford’s geographic location somewhere above the Mason-Dixon line.

So, Chance is a Millennial Snowflake. He suffered a mental breakdown when he didn’t even get a participation ribbon, so his Grandparents are keeping him calm. Yep, another character we’ll love

As Madeline Kahn (aka Lili Von Shtupp) put it in Blazin’ Saddles “it’s True, it’s True!!”

P1: are they toweling off in lieu of their usual shower or is that post loofah?

P2: that tile reminds me of the cafeteria tile in the cafeteria of “ the Bunker” beneath the Greenbriar. Was supposed to make the patrons want to eat and move along, made me almost hurl.

P3: so many possibilities…is he talking to himself and his friend Jack Daniels or to Chance? Agree he has some Herk in him

I gotta say, it seems like tragedy befalls a lot of these Milford parents.

P3 – “Here’s to you, the suckers that are still reading this strip!”

And speaking of reading, you’ve waited long enough, as of right now you could be reading Saturday’s edition of Mopped Up Thorp: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/
