In MOST cases, it is not the device which is “evil” but the addiction to it. Of course, there are some we could do without…

The problem is… the “smart” phone is smarter than the user.

I hate talking on the phone – but I love texting!

Holding tightly on to my simple little flip phone. I like being able to put it in my pocket at work and know I am not going to be “pocket-dialing” anyone.

I complain simply because far too many comic strips these days have a punchline that amounts to “We’re too absorbed in our phones.”

I got my first smartphone last year. Most of the pictures I take are of people’s business cards or documents. I use it to talk and text 90% of the time. I do like the voice activated features.

Other than that, I deactivated or removed every app.

I showed something on my phone to a friend at lunch the other day. Her comment was, “It’s noon and you still have 93%!”

I still haven’t removed the training wheels from it yet.
