“I have a Vision! I might not get there wit’ ya, but I DO have a vision!”

Ah, the tail wag was the bit of acting that really put it over the top,

My friends, if I have been a bit erratic over the past few days, it is because we have had a veterinary emergency in the middle of a snowstorm. We knew this day would come for Spicy (lower right) but it became apparent that she needed to be put down on Friday, just as the snow rolled in. We have been indulging her with bacon and hot dogs. The mobile vet finally made it here this afternoon, and she put Spicy to sleep in the company of my wife and I and our daughter.

Now I have no reason to go to bed early, or to get up in the morning.

Sorry to be a downer, but somehow it felt right to share here. We are dogless for the first time in many years.

Gather round, amigos de Cleo… and followers of Don Doggo de Basset and his secret other self.. Perro!

Now that Don Doggo has actually arrived on the scene…

the saga begins in earnest in the Feb 17th, 2021 “Cleo and Company” …on Sherpa.

The sight of a sweet, defenseless female being bullied by the merciless henchmen of El Comandante Slurez has stirred him.

Is his wagging tail a symbol of great control, the sign of a consummate actor, as his friend Fernando and our friend Farside appear to believe…

or his unconscious and almost dangerous “tell” … as Dennis and I seem to think?

Whether or not he is tipping his hand… or his paw…

we in the audience know that the desire for action is rising in his canine breast.

He may be managing to hide it from El Comandante…

But I think we shall soon see him … to mix a metaphor or two…. on the flip side.

For those of you aren’t polyglots (like me), “Perro” in Spanish means “covfefe” in English.

    You’re welcome.

Good morning, Ballardeers. Q Date: 341.98730.75 0F at the start of National Cabbage Day.

Looks like Coleen is the smarter of the two. She’s not standing in the road.

Don Doggo is so sneaky. In the chill of the night, when the full moon is bright, come the horseman known as PERRO.

Y’all give extra hugs to Dennis. (((((Hugs)))))

I think Don Perro is wagging his tail in anticipation of saving that lovely damsel in distress. Can’t you hear the film score rise to a magnificent crescendo?

    Da da, dum dum dum……………….

There is a certain group that he should use that whip on. The group that is going to delete Sherpa in 10 days.
